J.McCready & son is a family business based at Jacobs Farm, Goldhanger Road in Heybridge & Daymens Hill Orchard, Tolleshunt Major.
Growing a wide range of vegetables in season, including purple sprouting and white sprouting broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, curly kale, cavelo Nero, brussel sprouts, khol rabi, onions, leeks and carrots. Homegrown potatoes – Maris Piper, Desiree and earlies (in season) along with tomatoes, aubergines and cucumbers from the glasshouse in the summer,
Apples in season-cox’s orange pippin, D’Arcy spice, Ida red.
